At National Learning Network in Phibsboro we provide a range of free courses to people who have had an accident, illness, injury or have a disability and extra support needs.
Our courses are tailored to each student's needs, to help them to build their confidence while getting practical job-seeking skills to help them get a job or go on to further training.
You will be providing a creative writing workshop for a small group of adult learners for one hour a week for 12 weeks. The group will contain individuals who are vulnerable due to difficulties with their mental health, mild learning disability or other challenges. You will have supervision and support from an experienced instructor.
You will need to have an interest in, and sensitivity for working with vulnerable individuals who have been marginalised due to difficulties with their mental health or mild learning difficulties.
