Data Analyst
This Irish organisation is leading the pack with a suite of hardware and software solutions for the medical/healthcare industry. Due to the opening of new markets and the on-boarding of a number of new key clients, they are expanding their team based in South Dublin, and are looking to welcome an experienced data analyst to gather and process structured and unstructured data to support key business decisions.
Sounds good so far, but what would my day to day look like?
Working with various internal stakeholders to gather business data from structured and unstructured sources
Generating metrics and reports and presenting them to business heads
Running scheduled and ad-hoc reports
Combining analytics methods and using advanced data modelling and visualisation with tools such as Tableau and Qlikview
Working within an Agile environment and following prescribes processes and systems
Great, but what should my profile look like in order to be considered?
Degree in Computer Science or other related technical discipline
At least 2-3 years’ commercial experience in data analysis, working with the MS stack, i.e. SSIS and SSMS
Excellent SQL query writing skills and Excel, including Pivot tables
Experience in data cleansing techniques
Innovation in data presentation and visualisation
Excellent communication skills
Familiarity with R, Python, Azure DB, Splunk and Tableau would be a plus, but not essential
